Photographer's Note
"Like sands through the hourglass... so are the Days of Our Lives," are words that introduce the American soap opera days of Our Lives, an evocative name that encapsulates our helplessness at the hands of Time, Destiny, Fate.
I spent Valentine day in the company of two young ladies from Tokyo at whose father's house my friend Yoshi and I spent our sojourn in that city. Now they are in Melbourne for the wedding of my friend Yoshi's daughter. On Friday they are leaving. It made me think how fleeting our interactions are, being full of interstices, of chance encounters, of moments shared. And in this modern, jet-setting global village, where we are so close, yet so distant, there is always a possibility that we may never meet certain individuals again even if there is a bond of some sort.
TE is a little like that-one day we are communicating with a member, the next thing we know, they have disappeared from the radar.

Hello Klaudio,
Sunsets are always beautiful no matter where you take or how you take. I like the mood here with these people fishing at this lovely hour to enjoy the beautiful colors of the sky. I like the choppy water as a nice color contrast to the colorful sky. Even the car is looking at the direction of sunset. A lovely composition.

Hello Klaudio,
In my opinion, the inclusion o thee pier with fishermen added value to this sunset scene. Good framing and colors, nicely done.

Dear Klaudio,
Your shot of this beautiful sunset against the vastness of the sea offers one a reflective moment.
That, and your note, made me think of the following poem:
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Hi dear Klaudio,
This is very romantic and beautiful sunset scene, so it's impressive to see the sky dyed to orange color and people who are doing fishing alongside the pier. THe sea is so calm, and it's effective for the ship of the offing. And, it's good at the color contrast of sea, sky and pier. Good composition and excellent tone/clarity.
Kind regards,
mikio

Hi Klaudio
A well written note. When the note is a fine read, it only makes the photo that much better.
The viewer can feel the mood and atmosphere just by reading your words, let along viewing the scene.
Great photo too, lots of beautiful colors and ambiance.
cheers
