A depleting glacier, only little is left than it originally had been, seasons summer coupled with the major issue of global warming. Thajiwas glacier a major attraction during the summer months. However, there is need for some stricter regulation to save the environment of the area from over tourism. Litters such as plastic bottles, etc., are strewn all over along the track.

Hello Jugnu ,
A splendid view of this high mountain valley . Excellent inclusion of the dead trunk in the composition .

I like the color tones in your image. In the small preview it looked like a scene from Switzerland. It's sad to see glaciers retreat worldwide, but it's a fact.
Nicely captured, best regards, F.

Nice landscape shot with good composition by the snow covered mountains range...under the deep blue sky...like the textures of the stones in FG...
Very good captured with nice details...

Beautiful landachape this green vallei between the high mountainds coverd by the snow. This is not easy to get right with the strong light and the white of the snow. I think you could improve it by correcting the highlights and i hin i would try not to crop the top of the mountain at the right. Still a beautiful view.

You create a lovely depth and perspective picture, a pity people are very untidy with plastic bottles, this screwed up the completely nature.
Excellent captured lovely composed.
Very well done, TFS.

Namaste Jugnu. It is a sad thing that the very people who should know better, are the ones who end up in these remote places and treat them like their private rubbish tips. Reminds me of a young lady in Malaysia who threw her chocolate wrapper at the base of a waterfall. When I asked her why did she do this, she replied that it's only one piece of rubbish. All around us were wrappers, polystyrene cups and takeaway food containers. Obviously the others thought the same way, yet this waterfall was a favourite place for family outings. It takes a long and concerted effort to educate the average citizen to respect his or her land. It is easy to be a patriot in words only. A beautiful place-no wonder people flock there. Best wishes. Klaudio.

spectacular view. I like the well saturated natural colors. The people far in the distance make a nice points helping us to imagine the scale of this place. Very impressive.
