What a fascinating blue!!!I love blue, and this one is quite special, the presence of the white boat gives a good balance to the picture and add even more interest to it. Thanks Rosemary!

Hello Rosemary,

WOW!

This one is a cracker. Incredible deep and glorious shades and tones of blue with fantastic reflections of distant mountains and hills silhouetted against the evening sky. And one tiny brightly lit boat sitting perfectly in the frame. Even the lighting on the boat itself is wonderful: bright on top but with a warm glow on its bows.

This just has to be added to my favourites!

you title is quite right: blue is the dominant color of your capture, but blue is specially the nocturne and fairy atmosphere of your photo. Quietful attractive landscape. TFS

BEautiful photo Rosemary. I love how the boat stands out in all this blue. It almost looks as if you'd put a flash at the bottom of it! And a +1 for 'Blue' as well...great Joni Mitchell song!

Love the predominant dark blue color here & the superb reflections. The solitary boat makes a good focal point. Good symmetry & well composed using the rule of thirds with the skyline horizon perfectly positioned on the 1/3 horizontal axis. Tfs!

while some cld easily say it is a little bit dark, this entirely gives the right shades.
it also reminds me the colors of northern part of beautiful british columbia.

This is just so beautiful.
It is tranquil, romantic, full of depth.
The focal boat is strongly placed, whilst the lake's edge follows the thirds line.

I really am lost for words to describe the impression; it's more of an emotion.
