This was taken during a sunny day in the Grand Square of Sibiu.
Gro▀er Ring or Romanian Piaţa Mare is, as its name suggests, the largest square of the city, and has been the center of the city since the 15th century. 142 m long and 93 m wide, it is one of the largest ones in Transylvania.

Very cool photo. I love it. Excellent composition which you clearly thought and planned out. The 6 windows are perfectly placed in a nice symetrical possition in the image. I love how the up stair and down stair are different design, maybe down stair is a little more secure and protected frame so people can't break in? The presence of the girl adds a perfect touch to the composition. It adds the needed warm color and a sense of liveliness, and anchor point that draw us in. Perfect shot, compositionally and technically.

This is basically a very good composition, but to my mind it could have been even better The girl in the red coat is a perfect addition to the green wall, but I would have loved to see her further to the right, between the windows, instead of exactly in the centre. I also think that the black foreground is too dominant. I would have liked you to crop half of it. Maybe the colours could have been slightly more intense too, preferably by darkening the picture a bit.
Enough of complaining. It's a good photo, no doubt :-).

nice facade of this house, and an interesting area in Romania i really would like to visit! I like your idea with this shot, simplicity and "clean" compositions are my favourites. I agree with Gert here, crop some of the foreground should improve this shot. Still an interesting shot, tfs!
Have a nice weekend/

Hello Daniel ,
Rhis is an excellent idea and a good picture . But I could say the same commnet than Gert for the same reasons ; it could have been so much better :)

the human presence is very eye catching and vivid in this solid, graphical setting, defined by geometry and perspective. The setting is full of character and has fine, harmonious colours. The sense of depth is surprising and intriguing too. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,

perfetto inserimento della donna dai vestiti colorati in questo ambiente quasi asettico, dove solo le geometrie delle finestre rompono la monotonia.

Hi Daniel. There aren't too many people who can transform what may be seen as ordinary into something special.Great use of symmetry, patterns and subdued colours (plus the red). You definitely have an affinity with buildings. Best wishes. Klaudio.

Thanks for the link in your note today, and with that in mind, this was an easy choice in keeping with the same kind of theme. :) The foreground pattern here is a bit mesmerizing, but it plays well against the solid colors and shapes of the windows. I really like what you did to incorporate the lady in passing for scale and that sense of isolation. Solid composition too, relatively minimal and very impactful when compressed such as this to bring the details of the design to the forefront. Enjoy the weekend.

a fascinating photography here. Like your minimal composition which you done using a very good lower POV. The part of the road in this vast foreground is nice. The girl in red is nicely placed in your frame. Excellent work.

A minimalist composition covered in your trademark signature! Perfectly framed to make the most of the graphical elements on show. A well lit image with very good colours and sharpness.

j'aime assez ton cadrage et symÚtrie des fenŕtres, et tout le premier plan avec la jeune fille rasant le mur de la fašade

I like the windows and it details in the background and the woman walking there. I like the symetric division between the paviment anf the building.

Really magnificent scene Daniel!
I enjoy the way you framed the scene and how you "divided" it into a part with the architecture and the pavement. The woman in red jacket is a great addition to it.
Simple,but very expressive composition!
Have a nice sunday

A spectacular composition. The zigzag in the fg and geometrical lines of the building in th bg... wonderful combination of different graphical effects combined together with exceptional clarity. The human figure in the middle is a master's touch.

like this! It is a creative and well observed image that has a fascination and a strange complexity about it. Your crop and execution here are spot on and the result something original and inspiring. Well done!

I think your image here is fantastic it has a minimalist feel, yet we so much the young lady in red and blue who go's well with the muted tones of the building.
I also like the small red in the paving.

un'altra delle tue tipiche foto nele quali la semplicitÓ dell'esecuzione si unisce alla perfezione ed efficacia della composizione.
Ottimi anche la cura del colore e della nitidezza.
Ciao e buona serata

Nice pic, with a great foreground that provides some depth and persective due to the patterns. The woman is a little bit too much centered before the fašade. As a difference to Gert, I maybe would have cropped the upper part.
