My wide angle lens couldn't get this immense ancient theater fully in the frame. The Great Theatre takes advantage of the slope of Mount Panayir. Built in the Hellenistic Period and expanded in the Roman period. In its current state it holds 25,000 people.

I`m not too sure but I think this is where we saw Diana Ross in concert many years ago.Happy memories! However, an excellent picture even if you couldn`t quite get the entire arena.T.F.S.

A good effort none the less to get it all in.
This is an impressive site.
It is hard to believe that the long narrow strip on the right was once the Quay side and the sea is now about 9km away.
