One from home. I wanted to try & get a low shooting angle with perspective. From Wikipedia:
"Shorncliffe pier is situated in the suburb of Shorncliffe, Australia near Saint Patrick’s College the private school and lower Moora Park. This pier with its white faded timber railings, colonial street lamps spaced out along the stretch of pier, and resting shelter towards the end is a much visited attraction for families, residents and tourists to the area.
During the early history of Shorncliffe and its neighbouring bayside suburb Sandgate, both were beachside suburbs visited by Brisbane residents for day trips and holidays. In 1865 a company was formed to construct the pier, and it was finished in 1872."
Sandgate / Shorncliffe is now a northern suburb of expanding Brisbane City.

a great POV and delicious light in this clasic composition. Seems to go on forever and the symmetry is irresistable. I particularly like the coloured textures on the pier. A perfect execution and presentation.
Regards - Brian.

J'aime beaucoup la lumière sous la jetée créant ces ombres striées qui jouent entre les petits rochers. Très bonne photo, joliment composée.

The length of the pier is giving depth and perspective to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the pier. The afternoon light an the light of the flash are giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.

Superb POV and lights. I like that composition from left to center point. Light under "molo" and on the rocks great.

A very nice way of capturing this pier from underneath. I like how the light affects the colors. Nice foreground with rocks. The length of the pier gives a nice depth to the image. The details are well presented with lovely colors.

I fine low pov, which captures the sunlight on the pier supports and creates lovely reflections in the water. Beyond that, the sharply exposed pier guides out into the distance to a strong disappearing point.
My warm regards,

the low POV has emphasized more the infinite depth and the pleasant perspective of the old pier. A photo with a sharpness absolutely perfect, accompanied by a pleasant light side. Great work, congratulations!

I've seen a few photos of this pier and this is one of the best. Love the perspective, the reflections and the rocks in the FG. The thing that wins it for me is of course the golden light, quite magical. Thanks for sharing, have a beautiful day.
