along the years, TE has become a collection of landscapes. I don't mind landscapes at all...But the world we travel is so much more than just landscapes. My personal tastes have slowly but surely turned toward people and daily life photography. It's been a blessing going through your gallery this morning as there are only few contributors posting this kind of photos on TE nowadays. Like I said, it's not a jab to landscapists, it's just my personal tastes.
In this particular photo, I like the angle that you chose. I'm certain that taken from the front of this man would have given a nice shot too with the deep red wall and the cocacola sign and the fire in the foreground. However, your angle gives a very nice perspective on the surroundings.
I would have liked you to get much closer to the man and the fire. You know, getting closer, a slightly lower pov in orderto really get the textures in the fire and the man's skin. And the best case scenario would have been to have him cook something...
What is the watermark embedded in the top corner of your photo? Is it your signature?

Salam Muhammad Ali Musa.Well, I think this is a fine composition as it shows what the man sees as he waits patiently for customers. The reason why he is not cooking is that as yet no customer has turned up.The best kebab is the sort sold by such people- I remember buying kebab in Jordan many years ago from a similar setup operated by father and son and the meat was tender and full of flavour. I like the street light and the mood created. Best wishes. Klaudio.
