Photographer's Note

The Olympic Stadium of Phnom Penh has a capacity of 50 000 seats, expandable to 80 000.
It was built in 1964.
There is also an indoor volley ball court of up to 8 000 seats, olympic size swimming pools and diving facilities, tennis courts and an "Olympic village".

During the Khmer Rouge era, the stadium was used by the Khmer Rouge as the site of executions of officials in the administration of Lon Nol.

Le Stade Olympique de Phnom Penh a une capacité de 50 000 places, 80 000 en tassant bien!
Il a été construit en 64 et il comprend un stade de foot/rugby, piscine et plongeoirs olympiques, un palais des sports couvert de 8 000 places, des courts de tennis et un "village olympique".


Le 1er septembre 1966 Charles de Gaulle y prononça le fameux discours de Phnom Penh

Durant la période des Khmers rouges, le stade a servi de lieu d'exécution par les Khmers Rouges d'officiels de l'administration de Lon Nol.
