ecco a cosa serve vedere le oto degli altri, a pensarci bene avrei potuto tirare fuori qualcosa di simile dalla mia penultima foto... ma c'è tempo per rifarmi, nel frattempo mi godo questo splendido primo piano rosso-Ferrari :-))

Salut, Patrick,
Botanically, a tomato is a fruit: the ovary, together with its seeds, of a flowering plant. However, the tomato has a much lower sugar content than other fruits, and is therefore not as sweet.
This is a small note from Wiki. Superb red colour, fine cropped shot!

j'aurais bien rajouté un peu de mozzarella à ta recette, moi! En tout cas, très beau rendu de ces tomates rouges mises dans un cadrage serré,et je dois dire que ça me mets en appétit.

Ajouter de la tomate et de l’origan, ça devient italien ; du vin et de l’estragon, ça devient français ; du citron et de la cannelle, ça devient grec ; de la sauce de soja, ça devient chinois ; ajouter de l’ail, ça devient bon !

I first jumped in for the sake of the bright red, but now i am also in awe with the sharpness and clarity of the lines. They look so real and yummy (even though being probably stuffed with chemicals) with your good lens.

solo a pensarci semnbrerebbe banale fare una foto ai pomodori, in realtà si tirano fuori scatti come questo.
Bel colpo d'occhio, un rosso bellissimo, ottima anche l'inquadratura con due tipi diversi di pomodori per il cambio delle forme.

Yummmy! these veg are beautiful, colorful and a feast to our eyes. They are nutritious too, not only nourishes our taste buds, they nourishes our all senses. I like the composition of this, the simplicity, everything, very effective. The clarity and vibrant colour is really beautiful and the arrangement but shiney surfaces make a very pleasing image. J'en entends certains qui vont dire que tu fais dans l'alimentaire maintenant....et pourtant ces deux variétés de tomates t'ont permis de réaliser une photo très attirante et de belle qualité. C'est le manque de soleil qui t'a fait te rabattre sur les fruits et légumes?

unusual shot for you, but I do like the simplicty and effect here. Superbly sharp and composed perfectly. I like how each fruit has its own little blaze of reflected light. Creative and original imagery!

Elles claquent ces tomates Ferrari,ce type d'image donne de la chaleur dans une galerie.J'espère qu'elles ont du gout ces tomates,c'est devenu tellement rare!

Miam, miam... ça donne trop envie avec un peu de basilic et de ce fromage qui fait grossir! Comme quoi la qualité d'une photo n'est pas forcément liée à un sujet exotique ou spectaculaire. Ici, ce rouge est un vrai plaisir. Une superbe diagonale qui tranche, un rouge charnel, 2 formes différentes, de beaux reflets et une qualité au top. C'est tout simplement beau.

I can see from your last pictures that you spent some time in Italy - I hope you enjoyed it :)
I love tomatoes and I could eat them every day - your nikon has captured this incredible red, the light is so natural that the photo seems almost tangible...
Food photography is at its best when shot under natural light conditions - at least this is my opinion. the best food and cooking magazines I know use natural light and the results are plain to see.
This is also why I like this picture so much :)

Superb repetition with 2 opposing patterns & shapes at left & right. The dominant red colour is eye-catching. Good sharpness & a pleasant diffused light. I like the reflections in the tomatoes too. Tfs!

Ahhh, the beauty of the Italian tomato. This could be in a magazine. The sharpness, chromatic rendering and definition are superb. I love the tight framing and the wonderful quality. Excellent work, I can almost taste these tomatoes.

Graphique et colorée. Une photo qui trouverait très bien sa place dans une cuisine (ou dans une boutique de meubles et de déco, imprimée sur une toile). C'est du "déjà vu" mais très bien réalisé, j'adhère.
