A rather well-documented Parisian landmark in Trekearth, the Moretti Tower (1990) stands in La Défense, business district of Paris.
I chose to photograph it without too much contrast, going for watercolor effect, pastel tones.

a very nice perspective you catch there. the colors and the DOF looks great. the race between the pipes (as i think they are :)) and the building looks very impressive.

Good Morning dear Emmanuel - I like the softer colours here and the way you have composed the shot with the pale blue cloudy sky. I think this building prompts one to display the colours with full saturation and under bright contrasting light and I find your personal interpretation to be well considered and attractive. Warm regards Rosemary

innovative composition. Love the POV chosen. Great light management and nice colours. Constructions are turned into classy artwork by your lens. Superb. Tfs.

very eye-catching and graphically attractive. your decision not to push the contrast was a good one, I really like the soft results, like a box of colored pencils splayed open toward infinity. I love when architecture can be captured in creative ways, giving the original building new interpretations, and in so doing, becoming its own art. beautifully seen & rendered.
greetings from asheville, kristin

clever shot of this TE favourite. I like your composition with the initial diagonal emitting from the left hand corner which balances the lines and adds such a beautiful harmony to the image. Glorious clarity and colours make this artistic, elegant and quite compelling. Well done!
Have a great weekend - regards Brian.

Difficile de faire de l'original avec la tour Moretti mais là c'est le cas avec ce pov que je n'ai jamais vu utilisé jusqu'alors
Bravo, bon we

Hello Emmanuel, very nice image here. I didn't know about this tower, here we're used to the romantic side of Paris. Unusual angle but we're able to see these wonderful colors. Good take.

a magnificent creative composition, the bunch of colourful perspectives are irresistible as they're darting from two sides of the frame to heights unknown. The silvery building, the pale sky and even the cloud complement the composition superbly. I love how the colours fade away towards the top. A very elegant and dynamic image, fascinating indeed. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely evening,

I love this - obviously the lines create depth and perspective and the colours are so attractive. It looks like a lot of wires to me - carrying information at high speed. A metaphor for the internet in some ways!

Creative and very original shot of this well-known place on the map of Paris! The visual effect created by the colorful lines is fantastic and makes the scene really eye-catching! Bravo!

Sujet maintes fois photographié sur TE ( même par moi!!!)mais tu as réussi à trouver un POV original et un traitement tout en douceur.

Salut cher Emmanuel
This Moretti Tower is almost as famous as the Eiffel!
I have not seen it from this POV, which is absolutely superb. The converging lines, the depth, the amazing colours and graphism are winners here. Sensational shot, felicitations.

as usual your flawless technique has captured this exceptional building in a very individual and enjoyable style, making full use of the elements at hand.

fascinating shot with strong graphics!
I must admit I see this amazing building for the first time here on TE(I couldn´t believe it´s a building:)It looks so unique.
I like your upward perspective creating here eye-catching visual effect.
Awesome and very expressive in its perception shot!
worldcitizen (8970) 2013-07-29 17:29
Fabulous POV and burst of color from this famous landmark. I feel like I am also straining my neck upwards to look at it. This tilted composition is beautiful, and the softness of the photo does make it feel like a watercolor.
annjackman (21899) 2013-07-29 22:43
I like the softer effect that you have used as it gives the impression of the tower soaring into thin cloud. The tight framing and angle give a very good abstract effect. Excellent.
Kind Regards, Ann

I would imagine if i were in this same location, THIS is the style of composition i would choose aswell.
the addition of the building on the left gives an excellent contrasting element.
10 out of 10 for creativity and execution.
smash2707 (3320) 2013-09-20 6:08
Impressive perspective created by your POV of these two contrasting structures. Excellent composition. Well seen
