Silk factory was put into operation in 1900 on the left river bank of Tamis in Pancevo. The structural design resembles typical silk factories in the UK and France of 19th century. Building was erected on river due to water demand for technological processes of silk manufacturing as well as due to cheaper transport of goods.

The name of your shot evokes an image of another world, another time. It makes me think of a time when silk was so much more a luxury than today. The building is beautifully designed, I particularly lke the clock on the roof. It seems this places time has passed though as it falls into disuse, and your black and white treatment emphasises that. A really nice and evocative Image.
