Photographer's Note

Saint Patricks Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica is Ottawa's oldest standing and largest church. Notre-Dame was built between 1841 and 1846, and during the construction, plans were modified from its original Neo-Classical design to a Neo-Gothic structure, and both styles now coexist quite harmoniously. Although the exterior is fairly sober, its sanctuary is quite colourful and very richly ornate.
The church is made of local stone & It seats a thousand people.
