Photographer's Note

Orta San Giulio is a town in the Province of Novara in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 100 km northeast of Turin and about 40 km northwest of Novara.
The town itself is built on a promontory which juts out from the eastern bank of Lake Orta close to Isola San Giulio.

Debe ser imprsionante también con la luz y el color de verano, con los montes verdes...

Esta postal invernal hace buen honor al emplazamiento, elevandose sobre las aguas...con su reflejo con los tonos de color algo apagados por la luz, por el manto blanco...Preciosa imagen y magnifica composición...

On est loin des lumières fortes de l'été mais cela donne un charme certain à la photo avec des tons d'image particuliers et une douceur des reflets. Bon cadrage même si j'aurais préféré sans les poteaux du premier plan.

Hello Juan - You have presented a lovely peaceful winter atmosphere with this image. I like the cool blue-grey colour palette, the soft yellows of the buildings make a pretty contrast. The composition is good with lovely reflections. The only small change I might make is either cropping out the two bollards in the FG or cloning them out. They are a little distracting. Incredible location, Juan, well collected on winter scenery.
(Saw a similar on summer's?)
The calm water on lake offered a nice mirror of the snowy roof-tops and houses on waterfront.

I'm surprised I missed this one in your gallery.
looking back at it now, I have to say I really enjoy it.
the part of it I enjoy most is the water and its reflections, it has a steel blue tone to it.
love ths snow capped rooftops aswell.
