New site Aug 2013: all new pictures

These picture is taken 2008 during a open door day of the small castle.
This was a very nice moment for take together with other different picture.
I found these back when I sought to a other picture in my archive

History of this small castle:
Approx. 1300 in Oostkerke erected a fortified brick tower. End of the 14th century there was a "Nederhof 'and a' noble '", both surrounded by small canals. Baron van der Elst late remodeling a dilapidated castle in 1938.
The walls were re-excavated, the stone entrance bridge restored and transformation of the western wing by a graceful Renaissance building. Also, the former foundations of boundary wall and donjons raised and serve as decorations and walking in the garden, built by the Dutch landscape architect Mien Ruys.

I hope you like it
