A picture with very good depth from the repeated lines of hads with red bandannas. The nearest men show strong expressions, which makes them interesting to watch. Far behind I can see something blurred which i can't make out but it looks exciting. I am sure there will be closer pictures of that later. The light is superbly captured.

Hello Takero, nice group portrait shot of alot of happy people. Using the large exposure brings our eye right to the foreground by creating that blurred background. The Ohara Festival is one of the biggest festivals in autumn in this area of Japan. You captured a really delightful moment.
Thanks for sharing,

Looks like a very happy festival, Takero - especially judging by the man in front! Great subject caught at a perfect moment, with a nice DOF. I like the repetition of the red headband all the way back in the shot as well.

Great image, the depth is excellent with the red headscarves fading into the background, and you have the perfect character to be central in the image, he really does look extremely happey. The fact that the float in the background is at an angle indicates an air of being carefree. Really nicely done!
Best wishes from Ireland

Hello dear Takero,
this picture is a great introduction to your new series. A fine capture of the participants and their float. A lovely tight frame that conveys excellently the mood described in your notes. I love the depth, the superb natural light and colours as well as the way the leading man dominates this scene. Well done and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

Those festivals are always great subjects for interesting pictures!
Sharp fg, blurred bg, vertical format, colors, light, chosen pov and composition truly pleased me here!
TFS - congrats,

Another excellent smile, but I still prefer the young ladies. The shallow depth of field separates the smiling faces well from the background. A well presented crop allows eyes to remain fixed on the men faces. The the red head trips also lends a lovely hue to the scene. Nicely done. Have a good week ahead.
