Photographer's Note
The long corridor leading to Shwezigon Pagoda is very often photographed and appears in guidebooks or on covers. It is an attractive place as the view differs a lot with the time of the day. The play of lights and shadows there is fantastic. So I also tried to make a classic shot there and even show it here.

Malgo
It is hard to keep up with your posts, all around the world !
This may be a classic view, but you have done it full justice. Good exposure, keeping all details just so, and the people add a real sense of purpose. I would have wanted the place bare before I photographed it, but this is better !
Kind regards
Martin

Bonjour Malgorzata,
Cette perspective sous la voute nous donne une image d'une grande profondeur. La lumière difficile à cet endroit est bien maitrisée.
Amicalement

Hello Malgo,
You're right, the light and shadows work beautifully with the converging lines to give a strong impression of lines, perspective and geometric shapes.
I find it so interesting that the man is walking towards the camera, completely oppsite to the strong desire to move from the f/g into the b/g.
A lovely shot, sharp, warm and fulfilling.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Malgo,
An amazing never ending perspective there. The effect of sidelighting produced striking lit and shady areas all along the lefthandside part of the corridor. I very much liked your light management here; every detail is crisp and clear. The presence of people helps to vitalize the stagnant scenery. A great shot, thank you. Have a good evening

Hello Malgorzata,
The depth is certainly amazing and the light has created a fantastic pattern. Luckily some people are spread out along the way, aiding the perspectve and providing life. This reminds me of some old painting where the artist wanted to prove his skill at creating a perspective.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Malgozorta, This is a most interesting building with the construction designed to provide various environments based on the light of the day. I envy your being able to travel to all of these strange places and provide your viewers these excellent presentaiton.
This is a beautiful and well maintained structure, but you know I sometimes wonder how much a state or country spends to maintain these beautiful buildings. The poverty and well being of the people seems to take second place sometimes. I guess that is the way it is. What a contrast to Mendocino County. ha ha. Warm Regards, Roger

Ciao Malgo,
a fascinating perspective and atmosphere, great light management with the details visible in all areas, there is no lens distortion, vertical lines fall straight down and this is certainly due to a very good job in PP, very beautiful even the warm colors, great shot...
have a lovely day...

Witaj Malgorzato,
Missed this one. Fantastic use of diminishing linear perspective & vanishing point with the people providing scale & context. Excellent shadow detail & sharpness & I like the repetition of the patterns formed by the sunlight at left. Tfs!
