Photographer's Note
I was digging bait for fishing here when i noticed the tide was very low and this does not happen too often so once finished i swiched to photo mode and walk out to the lowest oyster beds to capture this image. In the back ground are the Mourne mountians spanning the horizon and Green castle is right of centre.
Thanks for viewing
ps i have posted a b/w version on my website

Hi Desmond
I have learned something by reading your note, and thats a good thing.
Now i know what oyster beds look like!
i had no idea!
For me, what makes this photo pop are the clouds and the landscape. Atmospheric scenes are great for photography.
very attractive colors in the sky and exposure of the clouds.
well done
cheers

hi desmond,
i was down this way last week. went to carlingford and climbed to the top of slieve foy, the view was incredible. the whole of carlingford lough is superb for photographic opportunities. this one is no exception, especially with your inclusion of the mournes in the background. they always look good when appearing darker against a more well lit foreground. the clouds are very atmopsheric. lovely colours and depth of field.
regards,
brian
