Reach out and grab someone.
And please don't push. It's not polite.
On Broadway, Upper West Side, New York City. Pushiest city on earth, and proud of it.

Kinda nightmarish:-) Hugh, but quite something to look at, this is an impressive mix of people and layers, the kid who looks a bit upset, the so appropriate choke victim panel ! seems like it could come in handy, the hand that seems to come out of nowhere, the people watching behind...
A great pic to me, gives almost me almost a claustrophobic feeling, well done !

Yes it sure is. I had a few pushings this evening on my way back home, and sometimes I think I'm gonna choke the life out of my fellow pedestrians ;)
Decisive moment at it's best. That hand coming out of the shadowy reflection is very creepy. Fun to work with glass isn't it?

Good morning Hugh. What a feast we have here! A little self portrait with T looking on quizzically. The disembodied hand reaching out to the child (or to throttle the photographer) linked to the choking poster. Plus a great view down the street thanks to that sharp reflection.
A real treat before I start work. All the best to you and T.

Hi Hugh !
Great shot. And great grab :)). The photo provokes to push a game a little further. I do hope you will not mind my little try in the WS to make the thing even more nightmarish ;)). And I don't think I reached a limit ;))
Greetings and best wishes of happy 2008 T.

A good one, Hugh, I like this the presence of this big hand pointing baby and of the "push".
I agree with Teresa about colors, so, I prefer her WS that your original version.
But the materiel is very good !!!
Best regards. Grazyna.

This 'push-pull' series of your is taking off quite nicely, Hugh...
Weird is the world behind the glass door...
Two different Universes on both sides of it...
The glass creates something very unique, something that is 'overlapping' the reality...
Like a camera itself…
It suppose to faithfully register the reality, but…
What is a ‘reality’ ???
Great stuff… great photos…
Be there - breathing deeply, Hugh

intrestin conceptual work in this push-pull series, hugh...pleasure to see how you have built the story around these simple two words...
kid is going to be a victim very soon considering that palm streached towards him as if trying to grab kid's hhead...
