Lefevre Utile, better known worldwide by the initials LU, is a manufacturer brand of French biscuits, emblematic of the city of Nantes.
The Petit Beurre is a rectangular biscuit with four short lenses in the shape of ears, 14 teeth in the length, and 10 teeth in the width. It is 65 mm long, 54 mm wide and 6,5 mm in height for a unitarian weight of 8,33g. The surface of the biscuit is smooth and the inscription "LU PETIT-BEURRE NANTES" is on three lines. The letter B is situated in the center of the biscuit. The gilt of the biscuit is natural, resulting from the cooking of the biscuit, and is uniform on the whole central part.
