Photographer's Note
Manchester is a changing city and many of the brick buildings are destroyed and replaced by iron and glass sky scrappers. The low sun illuminates in yellow the old building which is reflected in the windows of a new one (URBIS)

really nice effect... it's like watching the building on the right unfold from the left, first darkness and then slices of golden light and then, finally, the whole of the building.
there's also a play with textures and structures that I like very much.
I remember seeing some modern glass building in the centre of Lyon, breaking the homogeneous traditional architectural style and providing great reflections at sunset - when planned and distributed with measure, I quite like the final result.
good work here, really :)

Ciao Claude!

Joli rendu,
Yves.

Bonjour Claude!
Interesting composition & its the dominance of the pastel yellow which makes this beautiful. The angle you chose for this picture is good with the pattern of reflection on the glass quite amazing!
Best Regards

Hello Claude,
This is a wonderful way to combine old and new architecture. The reflection in the modern building is beautiful. I like the different windows and yellow color on the older building. Very nice framing and presentation, too.

Bonsoir Claude,
Amicalement,
Delphine
