showing you a photo of an old building. I see this almost everyday and I am always fascinated by how the sunlight always differently projects the lines. I would have preferred to have a human subject in it but this building has been abandoned for more than 5 years now.
I did some distortion correction as I took this just 50 meters away at 48 mm and somehow it is still slight noticeable. It is a kind of a study for me and I really like the play of light and lines.

A nice piece of closed up image with strong graphical effect in soft lighting. Superb detail showing this old looking building that have seen better days and now sadly forgotten with rustic abandoned look. The stark gritty feel to this aged old worn buildings add characters and charms. Sharp and strong shapes, lines, the repeats and patterns. But the soft shadows I feel create attractive dimension. The weathered look really makes for me. Great effort my friend.
In WS adjusted the tonal contast slightly to give a bit of oomph, hopefully you like it.

the texture of the image is nice with the vertical and the horizontals lines to make the scene more effective.

I've visited your gallery and this one caught my eyes. I like the different and complexe lines here. The soft color tones are also nice. One small thing, the purple line doesn't do it for me. Great job, bravo! Isabelle

I can certainly see what has captivated you about this location.
it would for me as well.
Personally, i'd focus in more on the right sided structure with those downward steps.
what a beauty they are! looks so gringey and oil-tanker-like...you know what i mean?
has so much appeal to it.
love this area too.

Well seen combination of lines and elements in the two buildings. It looks surreal and sterile in this way without persons in it. Well done!

You say thatthis is just a study and you've achieved a very interesting result. Your composition is not pure minimalism, in fact it is more delicate and intricate. The colors also have a cool touch. Have a nice day,

What a great graphic shot! I like the simple colours here and, of course, the lines, angles, and light. TFS! And best wishes for the New Year to you too!
