The Walt Disney Concert Hall at 111 South Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles, California, is the fourth hall of the Los Angeles Music Center. Bounded by Hope Street, Grand Avenue, and 1st and 2nd Streets, it seats 2,265 people and serves (among other purposes) as the home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

Lillian Disney made an initial gift in 1987 to build a performance venue as a gift to the people of Los Angeles and a tribute to Walt Disney's devotion to the arts and to the city. The Frank Gehry-designed building opened on October 24, 2003. Both the architecture by Frank Gehry and the acoustics of the concert hall (designed by Yasuhisa Toyota) were praised in contrast to its predecessor, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

The choice in B&W seems to me excellent!! the POV is fascinating, it gives a great perspective..superb clarity, light and sharpnesss! very well done

Très beau point de vue sur cette belle architecture moderne. J'aime l'utilisation des lignes fuyantes étirées par le grand angle pour conduire le regard. Le choix du noir et blanc permet de concentrer l'attention sur le graphisme de la scène.

Une galerie bien sympa avec toutes ces photos de scènes de rue et d'archi. Ici j'aime bien le cadrage choisi avec ce grand mur qui force notre regard à suivre l'escalier pour finir sur les tours. Je trouve le N&B superbe car avec les reflets la texture des matériaux apparait super douce.

Hello, beautiful lines and angles of the Walt Disney Concert Hall. This place is so great for photography.There are so many differnt views available to the photographer. An interseting sidenote to your notes is that Mrs. Disney pitched in another huge chunk of dough to complete the concert hall midway through building as the project ran significantly over budget. ( I believe another 50 milliion or so).
