Me : the photographer
HIM: the homelss
There was a moment when I was standing in the piccadilly circus and I was happy enjoying the view of the people laughing and having fun . I was taken by everything and taking pictures, then suddenly my eyes spoted this homeless . He was sitting there but really he wasnt there . His eye look was empty , no emotions while his body language said that he was fearing something. At that moment all the joy and the happy thoughts I had vanished, even the sounds i was not hearing anymore like some just put everything on mute. I felt him and my heart broke . I have seen many homeless people and I empathy them and some times to be honest fear them but i dont know why this man in particular I really felt. I captured this moment to never forget him. Like a reminder to always help, pray and really think more about the needy people ,moreover, to think less of what I want and dont really need in this life ...

I really like this shot.
It's amazing how tourists manage to ignore so much despair near them.
Nice "look" at the right moment.

This is a great composition, taken at the right moment. I wished it could have been at bit sharper.

Hi Asma, you've certainly captured the moment. Your note is very poignant as is the composition. The poor homeless guy sitting apart from everyone else, almost as though he doesn't exist. A very sad reflection on our society today. Best regards, Roberto

Such a great shot ! I am sorry because I pass by a software to translate into English and I am conscious that the result is often disastrous... At least this one is really beautiful and melancholic... Moreover I find your gallery, which I did not know, very interesting, some good job !

i really like this photo. It is so powerfull. A man surrounded by couples and yet an invisible wall of solitude and ignorance between them. So close and still so far from their worlds of joy and love. It's perfect.

how sad this imageis and how powerful. You have a good eye and a good heart as your note shows.

So sad and powerful. It really hurts.
Two couples there, the couple on the left seems that they were looking at a map .. Ironic.. those people are planning something and know where to go and how to go there while that poor man know nothing. Probably he was starving too .. who knows :-(
