Photographer's Note

Aux portes de la camargue situé dans la baie d'Aigues-Mortes, le Grau du Roi, port de camargue est à la fois un village de pêcheurs avec ses traditions et une station moderne équipée du plus grand port de plaisance d'Europe.

Le centre ville, construit autour du canal reliant les étangs à la mer, conserve encore aujourd'hui son cachet traditionnel.

L'ancien phare couvert d'un lanternon en cuivre ( 1828 ).

la Camargue o il sud della Francia è un posto in cui torno ogni tanto, sempre volentieri. Ha un'atmosfera particolare e una bella luce. E' proprio la luce che hai catturato nella tua immagine, calda, tranquilla, mi sembra di sentire i profumi, unici

Hi Christiane
the south of France seems to be a never ending supplier of fine subjects and scenes.
Although the photo may be a little crooked, i still love the sharpness, colors, dimmed lighting and the subject.
Seems like an enjoyable place for a relaxing walk.

Bonjour Christiane ,
Une très jolie scène portuaire , avec ce beau phare inclus dans le village . LA lumière est belle , et lc cadrage bon ,mais un poil serré en haut . Si le ba^teau de pêche avait été un peu plus bas dans l'image , ça aurait été mieux aussi , mais en attendant plus , il la quittait ... ce n'est jamais aisé de capturer les bateaux en mouvement .

Good Morning Christiane,

The trees give this the appearance of Asian or North African location! The light is lovely creating those rich, evening colours, making reflections, shimmering around the boat, and casting shadows on the buildings.
Perhaps there is a little tilt but it does not affect the appreciation of the shot.

Hello Christiane,

J'aime bien cette image bien composée dont les différents éléments baignent dans une lumière matinale qui donnent des couleurs affirmées.
J'aime bien cet ancien phare qui ressemble à un biberon avec le lanternon en forme de tétine! faudrait pas laisser parler son inconscient!

Belle vue sur le bateau de pêche, le port et le vieux phare, une bonne composition.
Un coup de bon moment, la netteté, le contraste et afficher de belles couleurs.
Bel endroit pour des vacances et de pêche.

A beautiful small marina, connecting lakes and sea, with an old lighttower, dominating the scene. Notable the iron-wire made to collect lightning's flashs, very clear in view.
