A trip out of Jaipur with an Indian friend, the woman with one of her nine children prepares for us a chai, Indian drink made ??from tea, milk, and spices, the milk she used is milked from a goat just in front of us, in the ws you can see her milking the goat

Hello Valter,

A remarkable double portrait prominent with the puzzled expressions in the faces of mother and daughter and the utmost naturality of their living place. I very much liked the textures of the brick wall and the black smoke traces of fireplace on the surface of wall. Looks like those people are very happy with what they have at the moment. A great lesson to the greedy.

Drinking a home made chai. Love the spices used for masala chai. She is preparing in the old fashioned way. They are looking at you curiously because you are a foreigner? I like the expression on the girl's face. Excellent shot with lovely details of this one room house. Like the colors and sharpness. This must be your village trip.

vedo che hai messo in uso la 5D. Sapevo che ne avresti fatto buon uso! Mi piacciono molto gli sguardi in questa foto e la semplicità dell'ambiente tipica dei villaggi indiani. Stai andando oltre la tecnica! :-)

Hi valter, This is a very nicely composed shot, beautifully exposed and with nice colour. It is a good daily life shot. I think the area of white light at the center top, where he daylight is coming in, is a bit too bright and draws the eye away from the lovely soft colours and textures. I think it would be even better if the light area were darkened. regards kevin

Sorry I didn't get to this one yesterday Valter, I love it. It's the eyes and body language, I think. Both mother and daughter are looking at you, the daughter looks inquisitive, the mother a little unsure. You have managed the light very well and the result is a softly coloured fine piece of work. I love this one and the eye contact you have with both the lady and the young child is wonderful. Lovely colours and fabulous lighting make this a wonderful picture. Excellent composition too.

So you have a 5D MkII as well as a 7D? I did not know that! Fantastic!

P.S. In Britain, we often talk about a "cup of char" meaning a "cup of tea" and I think this expression came about from the many British people who lived in India during the last century and before.

1250 ISO funzionano bene, dando abbastanza chiarezza alla scena che permette di vedere i dettagli. E anche inquadrato bene!
