Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This is the pathway that leads from the Devil's Bridge parking area to the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale town.

As you can see, it passes through fields and is edged by fencing and trees. These features become very attractive on sunny days, particularly in winter and early spring, when there is no leaf coverage, as they cast lovely shadows on the path.

I decided to convert the shot to b&w as this enhanced the pattern of the shadows. I hope you like it, too.

Have a great Monday, Bev :-)

I feel I must apologise, my photograph seems to have lost a little sharpness when being uploaded. It is perfectly sharp in my folder, but not so in the gallery!

I have entered the co-ordinates, which I hope are right. Although you cannot travel up the path via the yellow man, you can see the pathway's opening.
