Photographer's Note

As we left from Rohtang for Keylong on the Leh-Manali highway the landscape became barren and parched. It was hard to spot small shrubs let alone trees. After going on for hours I suddenly spotted golden coloured streaks on a far away mountain. After 20 minutes we were slowly but surely heading towards that golden streak. As it came close I saw they were these trees with beautiful autumn colours. This time I didn't ask the driver to stop, the scene was so beautiful he stopped on his own :-)
Thanks for stopping by.
