Photographer's Note

In my previous shot I had shown you the lava plugs of Hljóðaklettar in Jökulsárgljúfur canyon in Northeastern Iceland. Here is how it looks when you get closer from them. The basalt columns slot each other and create a nice graphical pattern. These ones are horizontal, but others on the site are vertical or slanting. It probably depends on the tectonic movements.
