Possibly, apart from the Hagia Sophia and the Mosques, one of the most photographed features of Istanbul is the small army of fisher folk who gather daily on the Galata Bridge. Day and night these intrepid folk are found hauling in their catch of tiny sliver fish and putting them into containers for home use or sale.....I'm not sure I would be consciously choosing to eat fish from this polluted waterway personally despite the attempts to make it cleaner!
This was taken as our TE meeting progressed to the Galata Tower as the evening sun left a warm glow on the fisher's faces.

An original pov, that shows the fishers all in a row.
A good interpretation of the subject

fine "street" scene here, lifeful.
good focus on the man in black, with the blurred all around him.
I like the idea of movement with the fishing rods on the right of the picture.

I like this a lot. Very creative dof with great light and colours.Perfectly composed with the fisherman's head and hand in exactly the right place.

Great capture of this man fishing. Really good selective focus and dof. Very sharp with good detail of the mans face. Vibrant, you really bring this scene to life.

the DOF should guide the eye towards the center of interest - yet looking at you picture I ask myself who or what this is... although you focused on the man, I dare say it's the fishing rods :)
I like the way you have used the light and the depth of field here, it creates a lot of movement despite the static activity of the fishing folk.
have a good weekend,
