I hope you like it

John

This was a wonderful morning, clean and quiet weather.
I have regular taken a picture of this canal, I stood on the high bridge over the canal, the expressway Knokke Antwerp, I love these area and try always out of another angle to make a good picture.
Of course the members of TE have to judge

History around the picture:
The canal runs through Hoeke southeast of the village and is a major tourist attraction for the village. Along the banks are to the east bending poplar rows, a visually linear element in the landscape. In Hoeke walk along both embankments of the canal paved streets, all "Damme canal" have the street name, plus a compass (north and east) depending on their location. The village is from the west (Bruges, Damme) by car via Damme canal-East, where one can cross the channel to reach. Hoeke via a bridge at the height of the Old Westkapellestraat Damme canal-North is largely reserved for cyclists and walkers. The development focuses on the north side of the canal, accessible by car from the piece Krinkeldijk to Natiënlaan, in line with the development of the small village. There you will find a cluster of heterogeneous simple 20th-century houses.
Between the buildings there are restaurants and cafes, focusing on tourism along the Damme canal
