Photographer's Note

Regards from Finland! I came today by ferry from Tallinn. It was something new and fun to me to go through frozen sea. Quite strange idea to go in winter to northern countries but I am crazy traveller and I enjoy this new trip. It is colour photo but all looks just like this - black and white. I started sightseeing of Helsinki with this square - Tsar Alexander stands in front of the cathedral.
Helsinki Cathedral (Finnish: Helsingin tuomiokirkko, Suurkirkko; Swedish: Helsingfors domkyrka, Storkyrkan) is the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran cathedral of the Diocese of Helsinki, located in the neighbourhood of Kruununhaka in the centre of Helsinki, Finland. The church was originally built from 1830-1852 as a tribute to the Grand Duke of Finland, Tsar Nicholas I of Russia. It was also known as St Nicholas' Church until the independence of Finland in 1917. (Wikipedia)
