PAPAGOLFADE

The church of Hanches is called Paty church or church Saint Germain is located outside the village of Eure-et-Loir. Its construction dates from the eleventh century. The oldest part of the church is the nave, which is built of limestone whose origin is not fully known.
In the fifteenth century and during the Hundred Years War, because of the constant looting, the church gets a massive bell tower. It serves to protect farmers from the men of war attacks.
