The Winter of 2011 was unprecedented in the UK, especially in Scotland.
The Snow came and went and then returned with a vengeance. There was the winter wonderland which photographers must have taken great delight in recording, And then there were scenes like these of a desolate nature.

this is a great picture showing winter at its coldest. the atmosphere you have captured is superb, i can almost feel the shill from my living room. your black and white presentation also helps convey the feeling of winter.

I am no fan of black and white, but through the long strong winter suits this very good to the winter in black and white.
Excellent landscape image.
Perspective and depth are pleasant.
Composition and presentation are nice.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice Sunday,

I simply think your POV here is superbly presented and with great thought to the angle of your shot. Excellent clarity and the B&W presentation adds to the atmosphere you are portraying. Beautiful job Manoj!!

Ambiente invernale, in una Scozia che sa essere bella col sole, e misteriosa in avverse situazioni climatiche ....

By Gum, this looks bitterly cold! Which, of course, is just the impression you were trying to capture with his picture - so you have captured it extremely well.
The perspective is wonderful and I love how the mist makes the distant view look even colder and more miserable. The addition of a poor frozen fellow walking towards you in the distance adds greatly to the scene.
Lovely tones and contrasts and perfect exposure and sharpness.
