Photographer's Note

It was a hot Austrian summer back in 1971,and I was nearly 9 years old.
Together with my sister, mum and dad,we travelled around wonderful Salzkammergut, thanks to its many lakes and mountains, one of the most populair holiday areas of the country.
Still a boy,I remember how impressed I was by our visit to the old salt-mining town Hallstatt,on the banks of the Hallstatter see (lake).
More than 40 year later I came back to Hallstatt, everything, all the memories came back again ;=],and I was amazed,so litlle had changed!,thank god!
Im 51 now, married children, like my sister, and my parents, are already gone and happy together, and Hallstatt,....it will Always be there, generation after generation...
