This was taken underwater whilst diving at Saxon Reef, one of the thousands of reefs that constitute the Great Barrier Reef. The divers you see here are not certified and therefore must dive accompanied by the dive master and must link arms when diving.

Don't get many underwater photos here on TE. So this is all the more interesting. I like the nicely captured bubbles rising to the surface and those lovely cool blue tones; excellent clarity. Thanks also for the note, which puts it all in context.

Looks like a party under water. A very nice group photo. You are very well equiped for under water. I like very much all these bubbles.
Have a nice day

Hopefully they are practicing "safe love" in this beautiful blue water world. Fine resolute scene of the interlocked divers enjoying Nature's H2O kingdom, with excellent clarity.
Thanks for sharing,

Heaps of workload has kept me away from TE for quite a while and on logging in today I was immediately greeted by this fantastic post from you. Excellent underwater picture with fine clarity and details.

oh me, now, that's blue! bubbles and bubble makers, coral reefs and their admirers. even though i am a golden medal swimmer (hehe) and deniz means "the sea" in turkish, i regret my ear complication that forces me to keep away from these beauties. i can just envy such photos and the feeling down there.

bel gruppetto di aspiranti pesci.
Ottimo risultato con la fotocamera sub, non è mai facile fare foto in immersione.

Gidday fellow V,
Holy diver! If you know Dio, you'll enjoy the double entendre. :)
The full frame of blue color caught my eye straight away...but the entire underwater scene is awesome! I can virtually hear the bubbles making their way to the surface. Pretty much a rarity to see these types of images, so this immediately holds a lot of impact.
Always somewhat of a mystical atmosphere from the underwater world, and I'm sure these divers, as well as yourself, had a great time exploring. A fun, dreamy and original photo...now come up for air. This certainly gives new meaning to the term "Down Under!" :) Have a great one. Take it easy.
Cheers from dry land,

Quite a special picture because nature documents never show such!
I didn't recognize if the divers on that trip I took were so tightly together. I'd guess many had certificates but not all. I wonder if I had chosen to try sbuba diving, would I have been more confused about the equipment or about trying to go with the flow with others.

What are you up to now? I like the strong blue cast, and the bubbles looking like so many jellyfish (I hope they weren't!) But for myself, although I've tried diving, I prefer floating about in boats on the surface. Won't be able to get shots like this though!
Didi (54651) 2014-05-15 11:34
I have good eyes The divers were not making love OK :)
Very interesting subject
The lights well controlled in spite the hard conditions

Ciao Lisa, riusciresti a far belle foto anche sulla luna, affascinante immersione, splendida luce e magnifici colori, bravissima, un abbraccio Silvio

Stunning sub-aqua image and lovely playing in the bubbles!
The comp, brilliant light & detail considering the depth is outstanding, a shot that we wouldn't normally see without your uploads. Credit to your achievement practising the camera with skill showing us a beautiful underwater world first hand, and lots of action down there. Simply delightful and pleasure to view. My congrats

Wow - this is very impressive and not something we see much on TE. Love the group of divers with all the bubbles rising. I also like the blue tones with just the coloured masks being different.
Very well done indeed.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hi Lisa, How nice to have underwater camera to take photos like this. You are not with other divers so I suppose you are certified. Beautiful photo in blue.
