Photographer's Note

This is a shot from my last visit to the zoo in Frankfurt.

ENG:The Frankfurt Zoological Garden is the zoo of Frankfurt, Germany. It features over 5,000 animals of more than 600 species on more than 13 hectares. The zoo was founded in 1858 and is the second oldest Zoo in Germany. It lies in the eastern part of the Innenstadt (inner city). Former director of the zoo was Bernhard Grzimek.

The Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS) was founded in 1858 by citizens of Frankfurt citizens to establish the Zoological Garden, which it operated until the First World War. The city council then assumed responsibility for the zoo until 1950, when the FZS again became the zoo's development association.

Καλά βρε θηρίο πήγες μέχρι τη Γερμανία για να δεις ενυδρείο; πάντως είναι μια πολύ όμορφη και δύσκολη λήψη με ωραίο καδράρισμα.

πολύ ωραία σύνθεση…τα έντονα χρώματα δίνουν μια πολύ ιδιαίτερη αίσθηση ..έχεις καταφέρει να βάλεις τον θεατή πλήρως μέσα στο θέμα! η ευκρίνεια και η τοποθέτηση επίσης των ψαριών έχουν ολοκληρώσει υπέροχα την εικόνα..πολύ καλή δουλειά!

Καλησπέρα Χρήστο,
πολύ ωραία φωτογραφία με εξαιρετική ευκρίνεια και υπέροχα χρώματα. Την έχεις καδράρει πολύ καλά και έχει ενδιαφέρον. Μου αρέσει πολύ το φως που διαχέεται απαλά και όμορφα στην εικόνα και επαναπροσδιορίζει τα χρώματα. Πιστεύω ότι δεν είναι εύκολη φωτογραφία, τα κατάφερες πολύ καλά και την έκανες απολαυστική.
Να είσαι καλά!

Ιδιαιτερη και πολύ δύσκολη λήψη αλλά με πολύ καλό αποτέλεσμα!! μου αρέσει το λιγοστό φως που υπάρχει και η αντίθεση μεταξύ των χρωματιστών ψαριών και του ωραία φωτιζoμένου φόντου..πολύ καλή δουλειά!!

pas facile de capturer ces lumières, d'autant que le temps de pose doit rester court dû aux mouvements des poissons. Une photo cadrée de près de bonne qualité technique.

It's not so easy to take a photo in such light conditions, but you managed very well! I like the result! Colours and exposure are very good, and the composition also!

Hello Chris,
I like aquarium shots, and often it is hard to handle the lighting. You did a nice job in this photo. The fish are sharp, and we can see the colors inside the tank. The mood is very calm, and also a bit mysterious.

Photographing an aquarium is not easy but you with your picture, done a great job and created the 'illusion of 3D. Very beautiful colors and depth perception. Beautiful and detailed. Thanks for sharing.

its always a challenge to photograph aquariums because of the poor poor lighting, usually its very dark.

in a good way, it doesn't even look like a photo, doesn't look very photoshoped or anything like that.

Hello Chris,

You're capturing well this aquarium by a good composition and excellent tone, so it's impressive to see the inyeresting fishes which are sailing in the tank. The tank is also well ornamented like actual deep sea.
