View the fishing village built in the marina of Puerto Sherry, near the beach of the Wall and in the vicinity of old Fort St. Catherine.

The Wall is a beach of El Puerto de Santa Maria, the most sheltered from the beaches of this Andalusian city.
At the foot of the cliff of the old Fort of Santa Catalina, near Puerto Sherry. Fine sand of golden color.

The fort of Santa Catalina is located at the entrance to the bay of Cadiz, in the town of El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz province. It was built in the eighteenth century. Its plan was to shape, and defended the bay with a line of batteries facing south which could contain up to 15 pieces of artillery. He also had a side facing the entrance of the bay, capable of containing 6 pieces of artillery. From a standing tower, near the fort could see the wide mouth of the bay. It is progressive in ruins.

It was declared a Cultural Monument in the category (code: 110270027) .. Under the protection of the Generic Declaration of Decree of April 22, 1949, and Law 16/1985 on Spanish Historical Heritage. In 1993 the Andalusian gave special recognition to the castles of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
