This is the daily struggle of the fishermen in India. Most of the time they get a poor return after a full of days work

Man at work.
Man and his hard work in Paradise landscape.
For me, person who is feeding by the food unpacked from plastic or paper cover.. such a scene seems ultra exotic..
Back to basis..
Like the idea and a certain rythm of elements breaking the sea waves. Splendid choice od B&W
with the best, Agnieszka

Hi Partha, this is a good composition, with the stark b & w figures and the flowing curve of the nets. An interesting shot of people in their working environment, which I suppose is one of the goals of trekearth (to show us how others live). Perhaps the sky is just s bit too white and burnt-out, but that's a minor point. It's still a very good shot. Regards,

Excellent photo. Speaks volume about the coastal poor. A bigger aperture with a different shutter speed (say 1/600) propably would have made the photo sharper?.
with warm regards

what a shot! I like the choice of black and white to stress the hardness of what you correctly call "struggle".
so we are not disturbed by colours...we just focus on their heavy burden

Hello Partha. Fisherman. A classical b&w photo from the world of the work. The composition is exemplary, likewise contrasts and light. Worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Very nicely made , so delicate, Just a little bit overexposed in the background, apart from that a really pleasant photo to view.

eautifully composed...a masterpiece. Black and white is the right treatment for this too.

This B&W is simply awesome.
The inclination of the fishermen and how they are parabolically connected with the nets create a beautiful aesthetical graphic. The natural perspective is incredible.

your compo and pov reflect their struggle very well. bw is the right choice here in that it hides the not-so-interesting sky and it strenghtens the atmosphere.
