Colva in South Goa was a small village in the past. Today it is one of the most loved beaches in Goa. It is 39 kms away from the state capital of Panaji. It has 20 kms of palm fringed, sun drenched white sand beaches. The famous Church of Our Lady Of Mercy is located in Colva. The setting sun is most wonderfully viewed from this beach. Every evening thousands of tourists gather to watch this spectacle. I was lucky enough to get this one single shot without a silhouette.

A beautiful sunset here that you have captured at this wonderful beach. It's really quite lovely the way the sun is a bit wavy from the distant clouds. Really very nicely done by you here.

amazing picture, so artistic and beautiful! That's the sight I'll always remember as I took great pleasure in catching those grayish sunset waves and watching the sun sink into the sea on Betalbatim beach not far from Colva. And what a relaxing place it is! Wonderful image and awesome mood.
Thanks and have a great weekend!

nice catch subho. I like the colour tone of this sunset picture. Nice composition with the mountains at back. Sun is well positioned in the frame, I should go for some off centred frame. Your's also is looking superb. Very well done. Tfs.

This is a very pretty sunset. I like the light management that presented a sharp sun.

Namaskar dear Subho
Although I have never been to India, seeing the photos of Goa here on TE, makes me want to travel there. The sunsets are remarkable, as is the one in this photo. Excellent control of the focus and light. The sun has been perfectly exposed and I like the minimalism of the photo:just sea and sun. Wonderful shot, congratulations.
