It Wasn't Me, a photo from Dorset, England

Photographer's Note

It looks like that the stone on the foreground.
was made clean (it wasn't me). I liked that
"little break" and used it in my picture.

I made this picture vertical, to create an
extra depth, but when you like more horizontal
picture, you can take a look at in my album
"England" here at TE (and see the differences).
The name of that picture is "Warm and Cold".

This picture was also taken in Dorset, where
they have a lots of lovely small places,
with beautiful surroundings and the local
population is very friendly.

Hello Robert,
the vertical format is well chosen as we can see until the backdrop of the image,there where the sea is connected with the horozon.I like the characteristic colours of the image with the colour tints of the sky, to make the image so pretty and unique.

comparing with the other short (Warm and cold) i would prefer this kind of picture a bit more! ok, i ´m a lover of vertical formats.. think this one shows better the aspect of depth!

Hello Robert - The contrast between the acid green of the weed and blushing peachy-pink of the sky could jar the senses but I think it works rather well here. The softer hues and darker tones add the right balance. I like the vertical format and the detail in the FG. The seaweed has been nicely captured. and you have some very fine underwater detail too. Salut Robert,

Not only did you find a nice and peaceful corner, but you also chose the perfect time to present it under the best light.

What I particularly like is the way the rocks are pointing towards the island in the foreground.

I'm sure that you brought your brush and soap to clean up that rock, so don't try to convince us that it's Mother Nature work...

Lep pogled preko belog kamena na obalu, more sa refleksom lepih boja oblaka na nebu, dobra kompozicija.

hi robert,
this is a fantastic coastal landscape picture. the foreground is packed full of interest with the coloured rocks and seaweed. the rock formations and layers lead the eye nicely to the rock on the horizon which makes a great focal point. the colours in the sky are wonderful, very warm and pastel. the whole scene has a tranquil atmosphere to it.

Hi Robert!

Very impressive! Your expertise on handling such sceneries are very well evident in this one. i love how you've managed to capture such colors, the pastel skies with a brilliant lighting, a subtle high key effect and a quasi strong saturated but not that really saturated colors, those characteristics are very distinctly yours! I wonder how do you do that! Superb, again, impressive. The vertical composition works out fantastically in this scene. Love the various rocks and those electric green algae is such a stunner. Well captured!

Greetings Robert,

Are you sure you didn't clean that rock? It really looks like it :) Once again, one of the signature shot, with the moody atmosphere, you certainly captured very well the misty coastal air and environment. The colors are wonderfully balance with good intensity but not overly done. It is rich but natural. The red and golden tone of the sky warm up the moist and cold atmosphere. The foreground rock and sea plants makes strong foreground full of details. I love it as a whole, a beautiful landscape. I also think if you just crop away the top and make it a more intimate and close up details of the rocks, creating a different composition from it. I'll try a WS. I just realized your have the WS turn off, so never mind.

I just realized, I have more photos in your favorite than anyone else. Such an honor, thanks for your encouragement.

I can tell this is your work even without looking at the name above it.
love the saturated greens, it makes the photo almost come alive.
the pinks and purples in the sky are much more subdued, but add an elegance.
