From it's vigorous and violent eruption to it's serene and calm state, the placid turquoise lake of Mt. Pinatubo boasts as soon as you enter the crater and entices it's trekkers to plunge into it's tranquil mineral-rich lake.
Known for it's fierce and ferocious eruption in the year 1991; a cataclysmic phenomena which evoked global cooling and the second largest terrestrial eruption of the 20th century (after the 1912 eruption of Novarupta) and the largest eruption in living memory , you'll see how this monstrous volcano changes its peaceful state, as if inviting tourists to beheld it's majestic scenery.
This trip was interesting, I researched about the place and stumbled upon a video in youtube that would describe how threatening and rough the eruption was and I suppose would help inform viewers of this picture, indly follw this link
My 2nd attempt for a panoramic shot during my Pinatubo Trip.

Fantastic photo with a surreal POV. The colors really pop in this, with great contrast

Your decision to go panorama suites this landscape very well.
Yup, I was in grade school when this erupted. I remember how noon suddenly became night as the ashes engulfed the sky.
