Photographer's Note

Babel transalte:

Cabo Girão is well-known for its cliff; the higher second of the world, with 589 meters. It is a point of view considered with an absolutely spectacular panorama.

With the foot of cliff, as astonishing as that can appear, one can see a small cultivated plot of land, Fajãs C Cabo Girão. Formerly only accessible by boat, one installed the funicular in August 2003 there in order to facilitate the access to the farmers.

For the enthusiasts for big thrills, it is an excellent place for the parapentism and the extreme jump.
