Next to the River Waveney on the broads is this wet land, it was covered in frost and mist and with the sun rising creating a fantastic atmosphere.
This photo I love as it looks like a super pastel painting.
The colours are subtle but beautiful, hope you like it as much as I do. View the WORKSHOP, as Roland suggested a Fg, cropped.
Have a great day everyone. Iain.

Good morning Iain!
What a mysterious and somehow even solemn atmosphere!
You really have been at the right place to the right moment. The changeover in colours in this sky is breathtaking as the omnipresent hoarfrost is. A photo to marvel, to be proud of ... really!
Greetings from Germany!

The mist has created a surreal atmosphere which goes so well with the muted and soft colours of dawn. I like the pastel colour shades which also adds to the dreamy atmosphere. Thanks for sharing a beautiful photo.

This is really the kind of scenes I like, but I had cropped it to 16:9 ratio with lesser ground.

Light and colours are truly sublime. I like very much the misty atmosphere which tempers the scene with an air of mystery. Though not in Kent, it puts me much in mind of Dickens' Great Expectations with the criminal Magwitch hiding out on the marshes. Superb photography. I like it very much indeed.

love this! There is something about a frosty sunrise over marshland and/or riverbanks that makes for something beautiful and romantic, despite the cold. Glorious light and execution make this something quite special. Excellent!
Have an enjoyable Sunday - B.

most definitely a magical landscape, Iain ~
the varying colors are subtle but form a beautiful color palette together.

it could be a scene from a fairy tale :)

Hi again Iain,
Wow - I really love this one! For me I like the FG just as it is. The bit of wooden fencing is well placed in the frame. Gorgeous soft colours caused by the mist and frost.
Very nice work.
Kind Regards, Ann

I like very much the atmosphere and subtle tones of this picture as well as the feel of the damp textures. A picture taken with great light management before the sun rises, dispels the mist and vivifies the colours. Depth and details are wonderful, if I wanted to transfer the horizon I would rather sacrifice a part of the sky, making -perhaps- the mysterious landscape look even deeper. But I really enjoy view and atmosphere and think they are captivating. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,

The weather is warmer in my place
Very nice peaceful ambiance, a very good moment
It was also possible to crop the sky to give a deep foreground :)

You can be proud of this very nice photo, where the frost brings a delicate and subtle quality to your landscape. What a great ephemeral moment!
The fog and the pastel colours in the sky are adding layers of natural splendor, and the result far from being flamboyant, is quiet and subdued. Lots of merit for this graceful capture.
P.S.: I just had a look at the workshop, and indeed, it might be a slight improvement, just by the fact that the horizon is away from the middle and that both halves are fighting to get the attention. With your workshop version, there is a finer balance and artistic sense, IMHO.
