If you have the patience to climb to the highest tower of Brugges you will be payed with a anwome view over the city and his surrondings. This shot is of one of the most photografed corners of the city and you can see hou many tourist theer are at the city if you take a closer look at the little boat and at the left upper side pier where people are waiting to go for a trip into de channels. What i like the most about this shot are how good we see the roofs and typical lines of the houses of the city. Hope you enjoy it too.

Leuk idee, prima uitgevord.

Wow, amazing view, I love the shape of those roofs, and you're right, this is probably the best way to see this magnificent architecture. Beautiful place!!

Great shot from the tower. I climbed it on the coldest day of January three years ago. It was too cold to take photos and of course there were no people cruising on the river and no sunlight on the roofs and water. Beautiful shot and well timed capture of the boat. Excellent sharpness and clarity. Well done.

It was certainly worth the effort to climb the tower for this stunning view, especially as the light was so good. The angle you chose for your framing works very well with many diagonals to make viewing easy on the eye. I am intrigued by the strange 'trees' along the street in the background.

Dag Kik and Ko,
Amazing view from above while splendid textures created by terracotta roof tiles dazzling visitors eyes. The shape of roofs, especially their triangle facades are amazing with canal and trees. Congratulations. Have a nice weekend.

This is a fantastic image, KIKs. I love such views from above and Brugges is one of those photogenic cities that where ever you point the camera, the result will be great. Even more, if you are in such vantage POV. Wonderful pattern of roofs, nice to see the green trees holding on the corner of the composition while the boat passes by.

A very nice view over Brugges! The typical architecture is so beautiful when you see it from above.
Next time I am going there, I want to climb this tower too :-)
Have a good week-end!
