In August this year the "Wheel of Brisbane" was opened in the South Bank Parklands beside the Brisbane River. With a diameter of 60metres it would seem to be a mini version of London's Eye (diameter 135metres). The bougainvillias in the foreground are growing on the sculptured framework covering the "Arbour" which is a walkway which weaves its way through the parklands.

very interesting POV! I like the idea :)) Amazing colour of the flowers! In any case, with such a POV I get the impression of quick motion... of quick rotation... which almost makes me dizzy! The "Wheel" looks great against the blue sky.
and warm greetings from Moscow!

I remember this place very much. But unfortunatelly - there wasn't such beautiful weather when I was there.
Extraordinary composition - very dynamic and colorful. I like the picture very much. Well done Marlene.

This is impatct, graphism and... vertigo !!
You composed that perfectly with the tilt, the 2 structures producing the visual impact and the flowers to have warmt colors and natural shapes.
Interesting and well seen.

This is such a great angle, the image is sharp, and viewing thru the purple bougainvillea contrasts what would have been monochrome with out it. (Though that would be good, too) It must be dry weather, for those to flower so well.
