Photographer's Note

Since my two previous photos from Bradford presented mosques, I wanted to show something else for a change. This high tower belongs to Bradford City Hall. The square in front of the city hall is probably the most photographed place in Bradford. This is probably the most typical view of Bradford.

In spite of the bad reputation, Bradford City Centre made a very good impression on me. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants, lovely streets to walk and indeed plenty of people enjoying it. I had a beautiful sunny day over there and a lot people were sitting on the square with family and friends.

Visually probably half of the people were wearing traditional Pakistani clothes, but I heard a lot of Polish language around as well which made me feel like at home. I suppose British people were a minority but I have seen some of them around and they looked as if they have a lot of fun too.
