In front of the elector's castle in Bonn, today the main building of Bonn University ("Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn") there's a huge lawn, the Hofgarten, where in summer hundreds of students are sunbathing, having picnics, playing soccer or simply are relaxing ... in summer...
Some days ago I passed this transformer station which - at the edge of Hofgarten - reminds of these summer activities in a fancy way.

A fine "summer" picture with very happy colours. This is not just any graffiti artist who has done this, but a real master! The traffic signs are good inclusions!

Hallo liber Frank,

That's the kind of graffiti I like. I agree with my brother that this is the work of a real master. The painting should have increased the value of the transformer station substantially.

Good morning Frank,
That's exactly how I am sitting typing on my laptop- I can see my feet just above the screen. But my background is a TV- maybe I should turn it on and watch the gardening channel. :-))
Anyway, thanks for the nice "relaxing" photo.
PS. Retirement is great!

Hi Frank, Indeed, relaxing photo. The idea to paint this transformer station in such a way is great. So much colour in the grey days. Realistic and colourful image. Well done!
Happy New year!

Da habe mal die Stadtväter Kreativität bewiesen oder besser erlaubt.
Schön daß das echte Schloß im Hintergrund zu erahnen ist.

hehe, a funny street detail, Frank. The idea is great and I sure support any artistic intervention of this kind in the street objects of the world, specially the ones that aren't usually that pretty. The visual impact of this painting is wonderful and I like your wide angle showing the context and balance with the prohibitive signs at left.
Wishes for a Happy New Year,

I am sure when the students pass through this place, if they can see what you have seen, this could give them a breath of relief from their heavy study despite the traffic signs will remind them the rules and their limitations. Hope they could see it as nice as your composition. Regards,
