Street shot from the small town of Polican near Berat City. A large portion of life here is made up of chatting and sitting in the cafes.

Believe it or not this building was built the in the 60s to host many Chinesse engineers who where building a factory nearby. A communist to communist present from Mao Zedong! Then it became a depressing looking building housing a dentist and some offices. Now it is a squeaky clean Italian cafe offering quality esspresso among others.

Hello Aleks,

It's nice that this building has been renovated and is now a fine place to relax, chat and enjoy fine coffee. Is the coffee shop run by Italians?

This is an excellent photograph considering that it has obviously been taken in very poor light. I really like the artificial light shining through the windows in the doors behind the customers outside the shop. Lovely colours, perfect exposure and good sharpness.

Hello Aleks,
this building has had quite a story, having changed some entirely different uses over time. This is its most serene and pleasant lifetime and it looks well taken care of. The vertical frame, assisted by the trees, is great to isolate the company of friends enjoying their coffee. The management of the dim evening light is wonderful, it preserves the natural tones very vividly and captures the dark serene atmosphere superbly. I like very much the three friends' deep immersion in their conversation that makes us focus on them. Their connection and friendly attitude enhance the reassuring feeling of the photo. Well done and thank you!
