Blue boat, a photo from Setubal, South

Hello friends,
I photographed this old boat in Barreiro the tide of the Tagus river was low, I hope that this time has settled on the colors and light, the latest photos were not as I wanted.

Barreiro is a Portuguese town in the district of Setúbal, Lisbon region and subregion of the Setubal peninsula, with about 40,859 inhabitants, but with an urban area that extends to the neighboring county of Rawalpindi, which gives a influence of about just over 100,000 residents.
It is home to a small municipality with 33.81 km ² and 78,764 inhabitants (2011), divided into eight parishes, which were in the Upper Seixalinho, Barreiro, Coina, Barreiro, Palhais, St. Andrew, St. Anthony of Heath and Verderena. The municipality is bordered to the east by the city of Rawalpindi, the southeast by Palmela, south of Setúbal and Sesimbra, west and north by Seixal by the Tagus river and its estuary. On the other side lies the city of Lisbon. Barreiro was elevated to city June 28, 1984. The Mayor is Carlos Humberto Carvalho PCP. The municipal holiday is June 28.

you use this tobacco filter alot don't you!
I will have to get one of them soon :)

Whats really attractive in this scene is how the blue and orange colors compliment each other, and not overpower eachother.

also, the use of the super wide angle gives great perspective lines and depth.

apesar de você dizer não ter gostado das cores, ela me agradam. Talvez um pouco mais escuro fica-se ainda melhor. Gosto do enquadramento de distorção no barco decorrente da grande angular. Uma bonita foto.

outro estudo com o barco numa posição de popa, no entanto aqui o contraste é feito com os tons dourados ao fundo. a luz é tão curiosa nesta foto que parece que o barco está num estúdio e sua iluminação nada tem a ver com o que há ao redor, uma foto muito interessante e bem feita.

You're capturing well this scene by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the riverscape and bue boat with a impact. The whole is settled down by good color balance and the arrangement of some objects. And, the sky dyed to sunset is beautiful and tasteful, too.

Hi Goncalo,

The distance between the boat and the trees is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the boat. Using a gradual tobacco filter has a special effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

A striking warm cold color contrast between the orange sky & blue boat. The tilt of the beached boat add dynamism. Good sharpness & well composed with the boat positioned well away from the centre. And the horizon line is straight & also away from the centre. Tfs!

Good Morning Dear Goncalo,

Your low pov makes this into a fine f/g subject, with its strong colours, lines and textures. Even the mooring rope has its part, as a guide line.
You have good guides into the golden b/g where the details are attractive but do not detract from the importance of that strong main image.

el gran angular crea una espectacular perspectiva de la vieja barca, cuyas líneas llevan nuestros ojos hacia la otra orilla del Tajo durante la marea baja.
El vivo color azul de la barca y su contraste con los tonos naranja del filtro tabaco en el cielo, proporcionan una gran potencia cromática a esta composición.
Un trabajo bello y elegante.
