~ Mt. Nilkantha | A Different View ~
A view of Mount Nilkantha (21640 ft) from Badrinath...
Mr. Francis Sydney Smythe (a British mountaineer, author, photographer and botanist. He is best remembered for his mountaineering in the Alps and the Himalayas.) described this peak as "second only to Siniolchu in Himalayan beauty." (source- wikipedia)
There are a lot of photos in internet, but I think it is a bit different view. Which is here for you.

Indeed a different and nice view of this famous mountain from Badrinath. I love the silvery mountain shining through the maze of branches in silhouette. Nice innovative shot. Thanks for sharing.

The intricate lace work of the branches make an interesting and unusual frame for the snow-covered mountain peak. I like also the patches of midnight blue sky to be discerned above.

J'aime bien l'imagination derrière cette composition. J'aime le contraste entre le blanc et le noir avec une belle tache de bleu très foncé.

I agree Subhendu, the view is different indeed. But 'a bit different' is your trademark, we know.
The veiled bright peak looks like a great diamond. Unique framing and very good sharpness to identify the lacework of fine branches.

an original, attractive and intriguing composition. The few elements and the strong colours you 've included in your vertical frame have made up a wonderful image that captivates with its minimalism, elegance and suggestion. The definition you've achieved is exquisite and the graphism you have created is absolutely successful. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

Excellent composition and superb color contrast. The white peak is well placed behind black tree silhouettes. Nicely framed in portrait format.
Wish you a very nice Sunday.

hi subhendu. wow! this is pure art picked up from nature. first i was a bit distracted by the branches covering the white peak, but then i realized i couldn't take my eyes off that bit. very eye catching in its oddity and darkness. compliments.

Namaste, my friend Subhendu,
you have played skilfully with the lighting and with the dark silhouettes of the branches and of the V shape in foreground, in order to create a beautiful chiaroscuro with the majestic mountain covered with snow in background.
The graphical effect reached is great, I like the power of this image.
